1. Why did you name this The Million Dollar Name Game?
We wanted to create a name that described our website but also was catchy enough to stick in someone’s memory. With our goal of reaching $1 million dollars and wanting to make a game out of it, we came up with the million dollar name game. It’s not everyday that you hear of a website named that!
2. What is this website all about?
The Million Dollar Name Game was created as a way to advertise cheaply but also turn it into a fun game. For a $2 fee you can register your name hyperlink or business link hyperlink onto our site which will be published into the world record (read on) once we achieve it. You can advertise your name, business name, or MySpace account on our list and on the homepage scrolling bar for only a one time fee of $5. For the $5 fee you will be able to have your name hyperlinked to your site.
With the game involved it helps bring people back to the site on a regular basis which helps increase your hyperlink views. Everyone is welcome to sign up for the money giveaway game, however only the people that register their name or hyperlink for the record will have their name displayed on homepage. Anyone who signs up under our free sign up button will be eligible to win in our giveaway, however they will not have their name or website appear on the site.
3. How does this site work?
Click on the Submit Name link on the homepage then pay $2 for the name and hyperlink you want to put on the site list. You can also hyperlink your name or business to a site for $5. Your name will then appear on the homepage scrolling bar. It’s as easy as that.
4. How does the game work?
Everyone is welcome to sign up for the money giveaway, however as stated before if you only sign up for the money giveaway using the "Submit Free" button, no link will appear on the site but your name will be included when we set the record. We have set money milestones for our money giveaway. Once we reach each milestone, we will draw a member’s number using a raffle system to pick our winner. The winner will receive 10% of that milestone. Once we reach our ultimate goal of $1 million dollars we will then do something big (more to come on that)! After we reach our $1 million dollars goal, we will add more money milestones to continue the game and then venture into doing some charity work. Anyone who pays to register their name or hyperlink is automatically signed up for the money giveaway game.
5. What are the money milestones?
We have set a group of dollars amounts to be our "money milestones". The following amounts are set milestones (all funds are in US$):
$1,000 / $ 10,000 / $20,000 / $30,000 / $40,000 / $50,000 / $100,000 / $ 250,000 / $500,000 / $ 750,000 / $1,000,000.
Once we reach 1 million dollars we will restart the milestones and continue the game so you never have to worry about it ending!
6. What are the records that we are trying to set?
We are attempting to set 2 world records. Our first record that we are trying to set is "the most names collected on a website" and the second record is “the largest hyperlink directory on a website". The catch is that all entries must be submitted by individuals, not just one person. The Guinness world book of records has told us that they will consider placing the record in the book once we have collected an acceptable amount of names to be considered. This is where you can be a part in this!
7. What are the prices?
$2 will allow you to put your name or your business name and hyperlink on the Million Dollar Name Game list. $5 will allow you to put your name or your business name on the Million Dollar Name Game Homepage Scrolling bar with hyperlink it to a website of your choice. This is where the good, fun, and cheap advertising comes in.

8. Why is it so cheap?
It’s so cheap because we want it to be fun, and it doesn’t need to be expensive to accomplish our goals for the website. Why make it expensive if cheap works right? We want EVERYONE to have the opportunity to participate in this. The site will be running for at least 10 years, so you are really paying $0.50 a year to advertise your website but we plan on keeping the site up much longer than that. Why pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to advertise when you can do it cheap?
9. How do I submit and get my name on the site?
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…
Step 1: Go to HomePage
Step 2: Click “Submit Name”
Step 3: Free submit or Pay either $2 or $5
for an Hyperlink (via PayPal with e-check,
Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover).
10. Are false names on the website regulated?
False names are not allowed because of the goal of world records, please submit exact information.
11. Will vulgarity/porn or other explicit material be posted?
NO! NO WAY!! DON’T TRY!!! In fact, if a person is caught submitting inappropriate material, we will remove the material without a refund.
12. Will my information be sold to other advertising agencies?
We will not sell any of our lists to other companies. All of your personal information will be locked away and won’t be seen by anyone.
13. Can I advertise an event or a piece of news that i want others to see or know about?
You sure can! Does your church, company, family or anything of that matter want to share information of an event or maybe a bit of news but you don't want to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to let the world know? Simply register your hyperlink on our site for a one time fee of $5 and let everyone know about your event or piece of news!
14. How long will the website be Live for?
This website is guaranteed to be up and running for at least 10 years through year 2018. Our ultimate goal is to keep it running for ever to get more and more names!
15. Will I receive spam from signing up with the million dollar name game?
We are not going to send spam e-mails to registered users. We want it to be fun and simple, not a burden. If we have any news or updates to report to you we will post it under the Blog section on the website, or on our Myspace bulletin page. A newsletter will be send monthly to registered subscribers only.
16. Is your site secure to accept online payment information?
We use PayPal (an eBay company), www.paypal.com, it's a very safe company that accepts payments all over the world.
17. How will you select a winner?
We will hold a raffle once we reach a money milestone. Once we have drawn the lucky winner's ID# we will contact them by email. Please be sure to add your email address when signing up so we will be able to contact you.
18. Why should I put my name or my business name on this site?
It’s fun, extremely cheap advertising, you have a chance at winning some money, and you will become part of internet history! Why pay hundreds or even thousands to advertise your website when you can do it for $5 and still have fun doing it at the same time? By having the game involved, it keeps people coming back to the site so your chances of hyperlink views increases! What do you have to lose? $2? $5?
